
Sarah Heying is a PhD candidate in English and Gender Studies at the University of Mississippi, where she researches the relationship between queer reproductive politics and creative practices in southern lesbian and queer literature. Her short story, “The Chair Kickers’ Tale,” won the 2019 Robert Watson Fiction Award from The Greensboro Review, and her writing has also appeared in West Branch, Lit Hub, Bitch, and elsewhere.
